Essential Aftercare Guidelines
🛁 Cleaning Routine
- Clean your piercing 2-3 times daily with sterile saline solution
- Use clean hands and avoid touching the piercing unnecessarily
- Gently pat dry with a clean paper towel
⚠️ What to Avoid
- Don't remove jewelry during healing period
- Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and natural bodies of water
- Don't use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or harsh soaps
- Avoid tight clothing that may irritate the piercing
⏰ Healing Timeline
- Ear lobes: 6-8 weeks
- Cartilage: 3-6 months
- Nose: 2-4 months
- Belly button: 6-12 months
Ear Piercing Aftercare
👂 Lobe Piercings
- Clean with saline solution 2-3 times daily
- Sleep on your back or opposite side for first 2 weeks
- Don't change jewelry until fully healed (6-8 weeks)
- Avoid headphones that press on the piercing
🦻 Cartilage Piercings (Helix, Conch, Tragus, etc.)
- Extended healing time: 3-6 months
- Be extra careful with hair brushing and styling
- Avoid sleeping on the pierced ear
- Watch for signs of infection: redness, swelling, pain

- Most complex ear piercing - requires extra care
- Healing time: 6-12 months
